MY STORY​

 

I mostly draw with pencil and ink on card stock or canvas . I can't live without my Conte pencils and smear sticks. I live just outside of Austin, Texas and spend the majority of my time conversing with plants and animals. I garden, collect things from nature, draw, paint, sew, play music and kick it with my cats, rabbit and chinchillas. My pets keep me grounded, remind me of what is important in life and keep me stocked with a constant supply of love.

 

For me, comfort has always been found surrounded by nature and in the company of animals. This combination coupled with a relentless desire to harness magic and reside within it fuels the inspiration behind my creations.

 

 

Nashville Neverland is an escape from the present while also the means to getting there. The birth of this illustrated path began in a cabin in Wimberley, Texas where my rabbit and I spent a month alone. What began as a few characters has grown to become my own, imaginary, population of friends and guides to finding my bliss. I call them "the Nashs."
